At this altitude, everything sounds different: footsteps on the ground, cowbells, the rustling of grass. You’ll examine the architecture of temporary houses, learn about the seasonal life of shepherds, and why Gomismta has become a symbol of peace.

We’ll discuss:

the origin of the village’s name
why clouds gather here
how people used to get here
the customs, traditions, and cultural characteristics of the Adjarians

9:00 AM — Departure from Batumi. The journey will take about two hours, along a picturesque serpentine road with panoramic views.

11:00 AM–12:30 PM — Arrival in Gomismta, free time. You can stroll around the village, take photos, or simply sit above the clouds.

12:30 PM–2:00 PM — Picnic outdoors — simple food that we’ll bring with us.

2:00 PM–3:00 PM — Departure.

4:00 PM–5:00 PM — Return to Batumi.

The price includes roundtrip transfer from Batumi in a comfortable jeep, an outdoor picnic (light snacks: cheese, vegetables, fruit, sandwiches, and homemade wine).
We recommend wearing comfortable shoes and bringing a warm jacket or coat.
There are no age or fitness restrictions.
