This isn't just breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It's an introduction to the character of a region where, over a meal, people discuss the most important things: home, goodness, and people. You'll learn why khachapuri is shaped like a boat, what it means to "give bread, give fate," and why locals don't eat everything at once. Behind every flavor is a story, behind every dish, symbols and meanings.
How it works
All establishments are located in the center of Batumi, no more than a 15-20-minute walk from each other.
Between meals, you’ll have time to explore the city’s beautiful locations on your own.
Your guide will be waiting for you at the restaurant for breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner.
9:30–10:30 AM — Breakfast
1:30–3:00 PM — Lunch
5:00–6:00 PM — Tea
8:30–10:00 PM — Dinner
At establishments where Batumi residents dine, you’ll try:
Adjaruli khachapuri made according to an ancient recipe
Borano — cheese fried in butter
Khinkali Kalakuri
And other dishes and drinks typical of the region
Between courses, you’ll hear short stories about the meaning, symbolism, and origins of local recipes. Our route is structured like the script for a gastronomic performance. An appetizer is an introduction, a main course is a revelation, and a dessert is gratitude.
Please note: the guide will only accompany you to establishments during the designated time. Between meals, you are free to explore.
You will be charged extra for any food and drinks you order (average bill per person): breakfast – 20-30 GEL, lunch – 30-40 GEL, tea – 10-15 GEL, dinner – 30-40 GEL.
I or another guide from our team will accompany you to authentic establishments in the city.
The event begins at the breakfast location. You will be informed of the exact meeting point after you make your deposit.
